    Everybody keeps talking about Everest because it’s the highest mountain of the WORLD. However, I’ve heard that the Nanga Parbat is a much higher challenge: albeit “a bit” smaller, it bears apparently 20 times more hazards. . .

    Who are you to say that? For this expedition he had to raise alone 45 000€. . . years of economies. Respect the man, and his achievements, climbing and riding down the everest is more than just exitement,, I think this not to show that he is a macho.     The speed , the mountain’s knowledge , the courage , the humanity and the simplicity. . .
    It’s so sad he’s gone now.

    He should be more known and have more respect from the snowboard community.

    How come Jeremy Jones is a big mountain rider with respect from the community ( wich he deserves ) and not Marco ???

    Come to Chamonix and look to the Nant Blanc at the Aiguille Verte, you’ll understand. . .
    Marco is like Terje or Graig Kelly , a true model for snowboarding.
