    @mkurnat I saw her in concert in Kansas City in February. it was a special day because it was her birthday and she was in her (and my) hometown! :) I met her and got her autograph and she was the most pleasant person to talk to.

    She is my favorite lyric coloratura mezzo out there. Bartoli’s coloratura flutters too much for my taste and there is not much power in her low register. Joyce is the real deal from Octavian to Cenerentola

    Molto brava ma per diventare bravissima oppure sublime dovrebbe trasferirsi in Italia per impegnarsi a imparare bene la lingua italiana sia per la pronuncia che per poter dare piu profondita`alle parole . A me dispiace ma si sente un po làccento straniero
