La Football League Cup (in italiano Coppa di Lega), nota per ragioni di sponsorizzazione come Carling Cup, è una competizione calcistica inglese alla quale prendono parte le squadre del sistema di lega più quelle della FA Premier League, per un totale di 92 compagini. Non va confusa con la FA Cup (o Coppa d'Inghilterra), che è aperta, invece, a tutte le squadre inglesi, anche quelle non appartenenti alla Lega.
Le squadre si affrontano in partite di sola andata fino alle semifinali, con eventuali tempi supplementari e calci di rigore (anche se fino a pochi anni fa si procedeva alla ripetizione della partita in caso di parità e nei primi due turni erano previste andata e ritorno). Il torneo si sviluppa lungo 4 turni eliminatori ad eliminazione diretta, per poi passare a quarti, semifinali e finale. La finale è stata sempre giocata a Wembley dal 1967 al 2000, mentre dal 2001 è disputata al Millennium Stadium di Cardiff. Le prime edizioni, dal 1961 al 1966, si svolsero con una doppia finale.
La squadra che ha vinto il maggior numero di League Cup è il Liverpool con 7.
